Head of Community Knowledge and Data (parental leave cover)
Full-time or 4 days. £51,317.
This is an exciting time at Camden Giving as our Community Knowledge work continues to grow and we undertake multiple game-changing projects over the next year. We’re looking for someone with expectational Line Management and stakeholder management skills to join our team.
A key part of the this role is working with citizens to gather community-insight and then working with stakeholders from business, local government, statutory services and civil society to bring about change.
The role is varied, but includes:
Leading on a Racial Justice strategy with partners that has come from the Community Assembly we held in September 2024. The successful candidate will focus on bringing the recommendations to action.
Leading on a community health research project in partnership with Public Health and Camden Council.
Supporting engagement of our Alumni network, including their engagement in 4 voting opportunities a year.
Sense-making insights from our grantees, community panellists and Alumni network.
Please note this role will require an Enhanced DBS Check. We are ideally looking for candidates who can start working with us from early May and we anticipate this being a 14month contract.
We are open to applications from candidates who would like to work a 4 day week or equivalent.

Community Panellist Waiting List
Since 2017 we’ve worked with more than 260 Camden citizens who have decided which charities receive money from us.
It’s an important job, so we pay citizens £16.05 an hour for this work. Panel work usually takes place from 5:30pm-8:30pm, once a week for a period of time. You don’t need any prior experience, you just need experience of inequality in Camden, be that because of your gender, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability or any other reason.
We’ll be actively looking for Camden citizens to join our panels at multiple times per year.
